We pack all the essentials into a 70L PCT backpack for summer travel. Lightweight frame transfers our heavy load to the hips , where the swivel waist belt keeps it centered when we walk through hilly, difficult terrain. We feel how the cool mountain breeze flows through the body-hugging back panel making our scorching afternoon miles more bearable. When we take the side path , we lose weight and take a removable backpack to explore the area without roads a little.
