This is a high quality, precision engineered solid brass tool connector. It can be used as described above, or if you want to fit a water timer within a length of hose (rather than attached directly to an outside tap) this connector will screw into the top of the timer to enable it to attach to a push fit connector.

All our brass connectors are compatible with plastic fittings, such as Gardena, Claber or Hozelock fittings. 

All brass and plastic fittings are susceptible to frost damage and should therefore never be left attached to a water supply in freezing weather conditions. 

As with all hosepipes and fittings always be careful not to tug or stress the hosepipe as this could damage not only the hose but also the fittings and the Tap.
